Jeff Covington, DVM - Dr. Covington received his BA in zoology from NC State University in 1997. He went on to earn his DVM from their College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He practiced Veterinary Medicine in North Carolina and worked emergency medicine until coming to Texas in mid-2015. Like all of our doctors, Dr. Covington enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but his special interests lie in neurology and pain management. His experience in emergency medicine has well prepared him for anything that may come up working day practice and he’s looking forward to building bonds with his patients and their owners. Now that Dr. Covington has his evenings free, he is looking forward to spending more time with his daughter Rayne, along with their 4 cats Pywackett, Wisakedjak, Waffles, and Nimbus, their 3 dogs Summer, Otter and Holden and Flemish Giant rabbit Salem. He enjoys reading and being outside and is looking forward to exploring the many City and State Parks we have to offer.
